About a year ago, the AC fan blower started to make noise when I have it turned on half way. Took it to the dealer and they said there was nothing wrong. They just cleaned something and the noise went away for a while. A few months later, the noise came back. The problem IMO seems to be that the mute setting is not retained between start ups. The best solution I’ve found is to turn off (not just mute) by holding down the volume control for a few seconds until the screen goes black. This will be retained upon next start up.
